‘Holding Space” is a term that is used in different situations as a description of a person or a group of people in a quiet mode that is keeping a thought or idea in mind as a way to focus on the intention or to meditate on the purpose. Some say that it is to raise the vibration of the intention to manifest it into being or to maintain a hold onto a negative situation that may cause disastrous outcomes.  This idea reminds me of the Monks and Holy Prophets, who would seclude themselves off from the rest of the World, in order to not have any distractions to break their train of thought. It takes a tremendous amount of Will in order to close off their minds and desires for a greater good and intention.

I think of those Church “Mothers” gathered together in pews with hands clasped, rocking back and forth, as one speaks prayers out loud or hums a traditional song to bring peace to the area.

The end of the Year with it’s many different cultural and religious customs, is a perfect time to cocoon and seclude yourself in the quiet of the Winter, in order to make plan, construct intentions, and meditate on the type of year you would like to have in 2025.

This is exactly what I will be doing from early January until Spring: holding space as many changes come forth with the New Year. I will be holding space for all my clients and family (as I consider those who get a reading from me as family as the same as my own bloodline). I will be meditating for friends and acquaintances, and for the greater good of the World as well. I will be reading more from Holy Books from various places, fasting, and welcoming in new adventures and plans to initiate when Spring comes.

I will have very limited contact and while we are all going through the change from 2024 to 2025, I will have you in mind. I invite that you take one hour during this Winter Season of celebrations to hold space for yourself, your family and loved ones, and the Universe as a whole.

It will do everybody good.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025,

Jacqueline
